I have one that came with WinXP and I like to use Ubuntu on it.

I can’t boot from my USB drive… I disabled Quick Boot and Boot Boost, but nothing happens when I select my USB drive from the list. I properly converted my USB drive as a bootable drive by using the Mac Terminal

i would like to do this same thing on a windows 7 starter machine [crappy Microsoft OS] i would just like to get rid of it. well when my netbook arrives. thanks for the information, i will be using it. by the way can you think of any compatibility issues with this, my machine is an asus eee pc 1005ha

Sorry for being a stickler, but please pronounce Ubuntu properly. It’s annoying to hear it mispronounced so many times within the video.

I tried this and I really like the design and want to love it buy why is wireless networking on Linux such a pain to set up

hey tim i tryin 2 install ubuntu and after the circle thing at the boot it gose 2 an error saying “can not mount /dev/loop1 on /cow” i dunno wat the computers go is i tryed 2 install xp on it b4 i tryed this and xp was having troubles as well the computer came with linux xandros i think it was called… any help would b much appreciated

use the USB Startup Disk Creator to turn the ISO into a booting OS
