HP Mini 110 Netbook
Written by Computer Nerd from on November 12th, 2011 | 25 Comments
Just a simple little computer repair… As I get more machines in to fix, I’ll document a few here and there and upload the video to YouTube. It’s fairly interesting to see the variety of machines and requests that people have. This little Netbook required a simple OS reinstall after Norton had it’s way. A recommendation to anyone out there, don’t waste your money on Anti Virus programs. There’s plenty of free alternatives out there that work just as well as the paid ones, and in some cases, even better. Thanks for watching! I hope you all enjoy… Twitter: www.twitter.com Email: itsmynaturalcolour@gmail.com

YUMI would be a better choice than partitioning

@bluekillz1994 Hey man
I honestly don’t remember… I gave this machine back to it’s owner back in August. From what I saw it was a nice bit of kit though

hi man, little question: is this the 110-3700SB? I kind of want to buy that one, but I’m not sure whether that’s a good PC or not
It would be handy to make my integrated test while in school

@123thepyro123 It didnt work, he did something, it worked. “He fixed it.”

@123thepyro123 like he said in the video he couldn’t repair to bring it back to the state it was. so the only other option is installing a os which means everything it wiped unless there is a partition on the drive

Its not a repair, you simply installed a new OS.
Repair is when you fix it to be like it was before, not upgrade it..

@mattymatt3078 Thanks man!
The single G4 processor (inside the iMac G4) is functional for basic web browsing, email and word processing. It isn’t main machine material in 2011. If you buy a Dual Processor Mac like the PowerMac G4 MDD, they’re much more forgiving and can be used for pretty much most things as long as the app supports PPC.

@eschofield1 My reason for creating my new account was to start a clean slate. I waited to see if my videos were good enough to gain 30 subs. Once I gained that amount (I think I had 28), I then made this channel. The videos were all basically practices, and those 28 people were told to subscribe to this channel. One day I may gather together some highlights from my old channel, but I don’t think that’ll be for a while. No videos is useful and they’re not very entertaining either…

@ItsMyNaturalColour would it be possible to upload any of those old videos i only subscribed to your new channel after the old one was wiped clean

how do you restore and xp .iso to the flash drive? I keep getting a “Restore Faulure. Could not validate source -Invalid Argument”

I am sooooo stealing your idea of the pendrive OS and tools thing. I never thought of doing that
I think i will get a 32gb one so i can have XP 32 vista x32 and x64 and 7 x32 and x64. I will then have a partition for apps and games and stuff and another smal one with Product Keys

Hi Tom, You could use your PC to slipstream Service Pack 3 into your XP install source and also use third party update packs that integrate all the official microsoft patches into the install source aswell. Just search for slipstreaming Windows XP and Windows XP update packs. If you want I can send you a pm and give you links to the software I used to create my updated XP install source.
